From Bradford
From the outer ring road, take the B6145 (signposted Thornton)
out of Bradford.
Continue on this road for about 3 miles until you reach Thornton Village. Continue on through the village and almost out the other side. Where there is a filter lane in the middle of the road (outside the Ameer Asian Restaurant), turn right, up James Street. Proceed to the top of the hill, following the road to the left. The Ring O'Bells is about ½ mile on your right. There is a car park to your left, and one behind the building. |
From Halifax
Take the A629 out of Halifax, signposted Keighley.
Continue on this road for about 5 miles. You will pass a sign for Ogden Water (a very nice reservoir with woodland walks) and then climb a large hill. In about 100 yards, take the right turn signposted Brighouse & Bradford. At the traffic lights, turn left; don't be put off by the sign indicating that this road is a dead-end, but in about 50 yards take a right turn onto Well Heads. The Ring O'Bells is about ¾ mile down this road, on your left. There is a car park to your right, and one behind the building. |
From Keighley
Take the A629 out of Keighley, towards Halifax.
After about a mile you will come to a mini-roundabout, at which you must take the left fork, still on the A629 towards Halifax. After another mile-and-a-half, you will pass through the sharp bends at Denholme Clough. A little after these, take the left fork signposted Brighouse (A644). A little way before the traffic lights, turn left onto Well Heads. The Ring O'Bells is about ¾ mile down this road, on your left. There is a car park to your right, and one behind the building. |
