A great location... 212 Hill Top Road, Thornton, Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK BD13 3QL

The village of Thornton is the birth place of the world famous Bronte Sisters. They were born, christened and lived in the village - their father was infact the Rector of Thornton. The Bell Chapel and graveyard opposite St James's Church dates back to the Bronte years and has recently been brought back to its former glory by local residents with a grant from English Heritage.

Originally the Ring O'Bells was an old Chapel where worshippers would solemnly gather, high above Thornton, overlooking the dramatic Hills of the Yorkshire Pennines. On a clear day we can see over 40 miles into the distance!!! How lucky we are!!

Howarth - the village usually associated with the Bronte family. Only 10 mins away - spectacular scenery.
